Generators contributed by the Islamic Bank of Brunei, IBB.
In conjunction with the 10th
anniversary of its establishment, the Islamic Bank of Brunei (IBB)
contributed a number of generators to some suraus and prayer
halls in the rural areas throughout the Sultanate.
The handing-over ceremony was
held yesterday at the IBB Executive Office, in Bandar Seri
Begawan yesterday.
Present at the ceremony were
the Managing Director of IBB, Awg Hj Roselan Hj Mohd Daud, and
several senior officials of the bank. Meanwhile, representing
the Mosque Affairs Department were several officers led by Dato
Seri Setia Hj Rajid Hj Abdul Kadir.
Awg Hj Roselan took the honour
of handing the generators over to the representatives of the
three suraus and prayer hall officers. The recipients were
namely Surau Kg Belabau Ulu Tutong, Surau Kg Sukang and Kg
Melilas Ulu Belait prayer hall.
The Islamic Bank of Brunei
celebrated its 10th anniversary January 13, 2003.
