BANGKOK (AFP) - Britain's Princess Alexandra and her husband Sir Angus Ogilvy are expected to arrive in Brunei Darussalam on Monday after concluding their six-day visit to Thailand.

They are in Thailand as private guests of Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit.

The princess is the second child and only daughter of the late Duke and Duchess of Kent, and is a cousin of Queen Elizabeth.

On Friday Thailand's Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will take Princess Alexandra on a tour of royally initiated projects, including Queen Sirikit's handicraft training centre and the Thai Red Cross Children's Home, the British embassy said in a statement.

On Saturday Princess Alexandra is scheduled to visit the ancient Thai capital of Ayutthaya and Bang Pa-In Palace, and then dine with the king and queen in the evening. Princess Alexandra will wrap up her visit on Monday and head to Brunei.
