Thai remanded For Causing Hurt With Chopper

Bandar Seri Begawan - Further investigations will be carried out on a 46-year-old Thai national who allegedly caused hurt to his fellow citizen with a chopper. The court granted an application for him to be remanded .

The Police Prosecuting officer Inspector Lim Chiang Han applied for Kham Walprommarach to be remanded at the Central Police Station for a week since investigations were not complete.

Inspector Lim said the offence committed by the defendant was a serious. Because of that it had to be remitted to the High Court on February 4.

Senior Magistrate Radin Safiee Radin Mas Basuni, heard the charge but no plea was taken.
