Hundreds of customers recently flocked to Tiong Hin Superstore
for a celebration of the important annual Chinse festivity, only
a couple of days away.
The superstore had a variety of
exciting programmes lined-up to show appreciation to their loyal
customers.
Among them were the Chinese
calligraphy as demonstrated by lawyer Yu Chin Chai, several New
Year dances performed by Honey Tree School and a Lion dance from
Chung Hwa Middle School.
There was also the Chinese Kung
Fu demonstration from Master Chen Nien En of China, who has
acquired the ancient practices of martial arts from the famous
teacher, Master Wong Fei Hong.
The highlight of the programme
was the presentation of a cheque to KACA's treasurer, Pg Hj Mohd
Yassin, from the General Manager of Tiong Hin Superstore, Mr Lim
Eng Sing.
Also present were Ms Janey
Gilkey, the Supervisor of KACA and Mr Lim Eng Kiat, the Managing
Director of Tiong Hin Superstore as well as special guest Mr Ang
Swee Chuan, President of Chung Hwa Middle School.
The donation is to assist the
less fortunate members of our society, underlined the public
relations officer.
