‘Expert' car burglar baffles owner with thieving skills

By Rosli Abidin Yahya

A computer technician with Mashhor Computer Systems in Kiulap had to walk all the way to work yesterday morning after he discovered that his car had been stolen.

Mr Rama, a foreign worker from India, was on his way to go to work when he found his car missing from its usual parking space, under his flat in Kiulap.

He said the car was old and not in good condition.

"The car was not easy to start and it took me ages to start the engine every morning.

"I thought no one would be interested to take the old vehicle and the thief could be an expert as he found no problem in starting the engine," he said.

He said it was so difficult to start the engine and some occupants would come down to help him when they heard his car would not start after a long time.

"For a person to start the car's engine without alerting the flat's occupants was incredible. I salute the person," he said.

Mr Rama, in his 30s, had lodged a police report over the lost of the vehicle.
