Dry spell sparking bushfires

Brunei is experiencing yet another dry spell. The firefighters shown have just finished putting out a bushfire on a hill along the road leading to Kg Penanjong,about 5.30pm yesterday.

The firefighting services was called upon as the fire was burning very close to a house. If left unattended, the fire might gotten out of control, causing damage or even injury.

The public is advised to limit burning rubbish or burning close to bushes.
