A pre-Chinese New Year
celebration, which included a number of performances by artistes
from Brunei, Malaysia and also Taiwan, was held at the Asma
Hotel in Jerudong Sunday night.
The show, organised by Pop Star
Entertainment Production, was sponsored by Mr and Mrs Goh. The
colourful performances included dances, singing and comedy acts,
which was wonderfully collaborated by the organisers although
the group had prepared for the show three weeks before.
More than 300 people came to
watch the magnificent show.
The owner of Pop Star
Entertainment Production, Mr Steven Chuan, said that it was the
first show he organised in Bandar Seri Begawan and he wished to
organise more shows in the future.
Songs presented during the show
were performed by local as well as Malaysian artistes.
A comedian performer, Tan Jing
Pei was especially flown in from Taiwan to entertain the
audience.
The group of artistes are on
tour and will be touring to Malacca next. The organiser of the
show also planned to collaborate the group with local and
overseas Malay singers for future show in Brunei.
