First Emporium & Supermarket at Batu Satu has a variety of
seasonal flowers and plants to usher in Chinese New Year
festivities, which is less than a week away.
Fresh stalks of Plum and Cherry
Blossom, white Cordyline Terminalis and Salix Gracillistyla,
which could only be found in cold climates, just recently
arrived from Taiwan, said a manager of the store.
Also available are small to
medium-sized flowers such as Azelia, Hyacinth, Tulips and
Narcissus, which are beautifully packed for giveaways.
Netra looks like a "pot of
gold," symbolising prosperity for the coming new year. The
plant is a favourite among customers who could place them in
their homes to bring good fortunes for the coming year, added
the manager.
