It Is Cheaper To Study In Australia
By June Ong

Bandar Seri Begawan - The number of Bruneians studying at Australian Institutions and Universities are increasing each year, because of the favourable distance and the lower relative costs in Australia.

Representatives from five Australian Institutes and Universities were present at the IDP Australia Educational Fair in Gadong yesterday afternoon to answer any questions that students might have. Concerned parents too accompanied their children.

Collette Foster, Director of IDP said that most of the students enquiring about courses offered at the educational fair were interested in foundation and post-graduate degrees in Medicine, Law, Business and Engineering.

Mature students at the fair had also sought information on Masters Degrees and PhDs in Australia. Most of the students who will be attending school this coming March are self-sponsored while others are government-sponsored. (Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin)
