New Kampong Mulaut Head Elected

Bandar Seri Begawan - Awang Haji Mohd Jahid bin Hitam alias Saeid has been selected as the new Ketua of Kampong Mulaut in Mukim Sengkurong.

Awang Haji Mohd Jahid, 58, a former employee of the Forestry Department won the majority of the votes in a poll held yesterday.

He replaces the late Awang Haji Rashid bin Bandon.

Kampong Mulaut is home to more than 2,000 people.
