Mr J B Ramesh of Y.M. RM Enterprise donated ten televisions and
two water dispensers to RIPAS Hospital Monday, January 20.
A Permanant Resident of Brunei,
he decided to donate the water dispensers so that the hot and
cold water provided may keep patients and their relatives
comfortable while they wait their turn at the A&E, and at
the O&G Clinic, where patients are often asked to drink
water before an Ultrasound test.
The ten televisions were given
to the hospital in an attempt to provide in-patients with
entertainment, which would help distract patients and cheer them
up, reducing 'get-well' time.
Mr Ramesh, a philanthropist,
says that he was moved to act after a visit to see a friend in
RIPAS Hospital.
