The guest of honour presenting a certificate to an awardee.
Royal Brunei Catering Sdn Bhd (RBC)
hosted a certificate presentation ceremony at the Muhibah I
& II of the Royal Brunei Recreation Club yesterday.
Nearly 30 awardees - comprising
personnel from RBC, Mulaut Abattoir Sdn Bhd and the Information
Department - received their certificates from the guest of
honour, Haji Bujang bin Haji Masu'ut, the Acting Director of
Information.
Earlier, these awardees had
attended a four-day workshop held at the Information Department.
The seminar was witnessed by
observers from the hosting institution and was divided into two
segments - Correspondence writing workshop and Public Relations
& Effective Communications Seminar Workshop.
"It is RBC's intention to
work closely with any government agency to enhance the knowledge
of its employees, and we appreciate the effort made by the
Information Department in hosting our four-day seminar.
"RBC plans to further
enhance its training programme requirement by engaging the
Information Department in the near future," said Siti
Normah bte Haji Talip, the senior officer of the Controller
Personnel and Services.
Also present at the ceremony
yesterday were RBC's Acting General Manager, Haji Alidi bin Haji
Mahmud, members of management, senior officials from the
Department of Information and members of the Public Relations
Committee for Government Ministries and Department.
