About forty thousand spectators were thrilled by the final show from performers of the Shaolin Kung Fu at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas two nights ago.

His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen and Her Royal Highness Princess Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah were among the spectators attending.

The thirty Kung Fu warriors, dressed in their new dragon-red uniform, astonished the crowds with their martial arts and fighting skills. Spectators were able to see manoeuvres for all eighteen martial art weapons required for a Shaolin master, which include broad sword, crescent shuffle, the whip, spears and the double handed sword.

As usual, spectators were fascinated by the monkey fighting techniques as well as the martial art performance from a 6-year-old Shaolin warrior. New skills and fighting techniques were also included in their final performance for the Sultanate.

A special appearance was made by the KACA children with their guardians, who had received 100 complimentary tickets given by the organiser. They even got the chance to take a photo with the Shaolin troupe.

A big applause was given to the astonishing thirty Shaolin warriors. It was indeed a successful event and in the future, the organiser will try to bring in other cultural events for the residents of Brunei Darussalam.

Yesterday, the Shaolin Kung Fu troupe went on a tour at the Empire Hotel & Country Club after their hectic 5-day show. Twenty-four martial art performers with their instructors and team officials had a relaxing time at the Pantai Restaurant.

The martial arts performers will return today to the People's Republic of China for the Chinese New Year.
