The guest of honour cum Director of ITB, Awg Hj Yusra presenting
a certificate to a paper presenter.
The English Conference for
Business and Technology held their closing ceremony yesterday at
ITB. Mr Anthony Phillips, Head of Language & Communication
Unit, in his opening speech, thanked those who had made the
conference a success.
Present as the guest of honour
was the Director of ITB, Awg Hj Yusra bin Hj Abd Halim. The
Director gave away souvenir to the keynote speaker, Ms Vicki
Hollet.
Shortly after that, he
presented certificates to fifteen paper presenters mostly from
ITB and UBD and others, which comprised foreign lecturers.
The director also presented
more than seventy certificates to the participants of the
conference. The participants were mostly teachers from the
government schools, Ministry of Education and including sponsors
from private sectors. The main sponsor for the event was HSBC.
ITB held a dinner at Orchid
Garden Hotel for the paper presenters, keynote speakers and
sponsors of the conference last night in appreciation of their
efforts.
