Donation to the poor

Mulaut Abattoir Sdn Bhd yesterday donated a total of B$18,920 to the poor and needy people in the country. The company's Chairman, Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Awg Hj Yahya, who is also the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, handed over the mock cheque to the Acting Secretary of Majlis Ugama Islam Brunei, Hj Abd Wahab bin Hj Sapar. Also present at the presentation ceremony was Awg Hj Alidi, the Director and General Manager of the company. The donation came from the proceeds of animal skin exports.
