PDS gets OPLE Award

Mrs. Mary Lim, PDS School Managing Principal, receiving the award from Philippine Foreign Secretary Blas Ople assisted by Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Virginia H. Benavidez (centre).

PDS School received the OPLE Award (Outstanding Performance in Labor and Employment Recognition) during the official visit of Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Blas F. Ople at the new Philippine Embassy chancery.

The OPLE Award recognises reputable companies with proven track records in enhancing the capabilities and skills of Filipino workers, as well as Filipino and foreign individuals who have contributed immensely in helping the members of the Filipino community in Brunei.

Mrs. Mary Lim, PDS School's Managing Principal, personally received the award was given to PDS School in recognition of its untiring support for the many programmes of the Philippine Embassy for having provided skilled and talented faculty members, administrative staff and students.

Mrs. Virginia H. Benavidez, Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Draussalam, and the embassy staff played host to the grand event. The PDS School Trio sang and played instruments to serenade the visitors.
