Universiti Brunei Darussalam and
Sultan Qaboos University yesterday signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) to encourage academic cooperation through
research as well as study for the advancement of learning.
Dr Saud bin Nasser Al-Riyami,
President of Sultan Qaboos University met with UBD
Vice-Chancellor Dr Hj Ismail Hj Duraman as well as other UBD
principal officers.
The learning process is hoped
to be achieved by conducting faculty visits from one university
to the other for further research, facilitate admission of
qualified students to each university in graduate programmes, to
enable an exchange of academic publications and scholarly
information and promote other academic activities.
Dr Hj Ismail Hj Duraman gave
the welcoming remarks.

the Development of UBD.
The delegates from Sultan
Qaboos University visited several places of interest such as the
Information Communication Technology Centre, University library,
and Educational Technology Centre in the UBD campus.
