Brunei's Several Top Soldiers Promoted

Bandar Seri Begawan - Several officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) have been promoted to higher ranks yesterday.

The first inline to be commissioned was Haji Mahmud bin Haji Sally who was appointed as a full Colonel.

Three acting Lieutenant Colonels were upgraded to full Lieutenant Colonels. They are Zakaria bin Haji Ahmad, Abdul Aziz bin Mohd Tamil and Pengiran Tajuddin bin Pengiran Haji Karif.

Seven Majors were promoted to Acting Lieutenant Colonels. They made from officers from the Royal Brunei Navy Force, Air Force and Supports Services.

Two acting Majors and a Captain were appointed to full Majors.

Two officers, one an acting Captain and another a Lieutenant were both promoted to full Captains.

A Lieutenant was upgraded to acting Captain while another to Lieutenant.

The function was held at the Officers Mass in Bolkiah Garrison yesterday.
