Brunei Pilgrims For Mecca To Leave Next Week

Bandar Seri Begawan - The first flight of intending pilgrims is scheduled to leave for Mecca next week.

In the meantime, thanksgiving ceremony has been held for those who will perform the Haj at the Holy Land.

The Education Ministry held a Doa Keshukuran for its intending pilgrims yesterday. Education Minister Pehin Dato Awang Haji Abdul Aziz was present.

The ceremony was highlighted with a talk on the significance of the pilgrimage.

The function took place at the ministry's premises at the Old Airport in Berakas.
