The 23-year-old proprietor of
Boyzone Video and CD rental, Chung Shew Hui, was fined $800 or a
week in jail after he pleaded guilty to have in his possession
13 obscene VCDs at his shop for the purpose of selling. The
court was told that the VCDs contained scenes of men and women
in the act of sexual intercourse, Police prosecuting officer
said.
A raid by the CID from PHQ on
February 13 last year at the said shop in Kg Petani Tutong,
revealed that 7 VCDs were found inside the VCD box and six more
found in the area leading to the toilet of the shop. The CID
arrested the defendant and seized the obscene VCDs, titled
'Peter North', 'Real Sex Magazine 37', 'Extreme Gang Bang 5',
'French House Party', 'Red Shoes Diaries 6', one called 'The 6th
sense' and one with Chinese characters.
