Bandar Seri Begawan - Another 'hit-and-run' accident took place on the Muara-Tutong highway, but this time it wasn't a human being.

A dead monkey was seen lying in the middle of the road on the Muara-Tutong highway. Drivers need to be aware of human as well as non-human pedestrians while on the road.

Roadkill is a common eyesore nowadays with not just monkeys ending up as victims on the road but also cats, dogs and buffaloes that sometimes roam freely on the road. The question is who will remove these carcasses that are often simply left to rot. (Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin)
