DR Atiya giving a presentation on "Understanding and
Management of Sleep Disorders".
The Ministry of Health organised a
talk on "Understanding and Management of Sleep
Disorders" for invited doctors on Saturday night.
The talk was presented by Dr
Atiya Sultana Khan who is an associate professor of Neurology
& Pediatrics from West Virginia University, USA.
Around 160 doctors were present
at the talk that was held at the Indera Kayangan Ballroom at the
Empire Hotel & Country Club.
The talk, which was part of the
CME (Continuing Medical education), was organised by the
Ministry of Health and sponsored by Sanofi-Synthelabo.
Also present to introduce Dr
Atiya was the Chairman, Dr Hj S Hameed Nainar from the Neurology
Department, RIPAS Hospital Brunei.
The presentation covered topics
like Sleep Pysiology, Sleep Phylogeny and Sleep Ontogeny.
