Nusa Laila Putri Students Show Their Patriotism

Bandar Seri Begawan - Nusa Laila Putri School in Sg Buloh yesterday showed its patriotism when it celebrated the 24th National Day of Brunei Darussalam.

The event began with a welcoming speech from Cikgu Royzime. The audience was then treated to entertaining performances by the kindergarten students who danced and belted out a few songs.

There were also performances from the primary students such as singing, reciting patriotic poems, story telling and dancing.

The guest of honour was the principal, Dr Hjh Syarifah Noor Syed Hj Ibrahim, with two members of PIGS, Wan Ali bin Wan Ibrahim and Matsuad Hj Metali.

The event also saw the presentation of prizes to the winners with the best costume for kindergarten and primary pupils.

It concluded with the singing of a patriotic song.
