The course culminated with a
handing-over ceremony for one engine and three transmission units
donated by Premier Motor Company yesterday.
Norhaizamdin
bin Hi Mosbi, Deputy Director of the Technical Education Department, Ministry of Education,
said that-with the increase in the number of cars of different makes
on the road, it is realised that the demand in the maintenance of
motor vehicles by highly skilled automotive technicians will always
become a priority for motor vehicle agencies in Brunei Darussalam.
“I strongly believe that both the
industry and the training institutions have a shared responsibility
in providing training to produce these highly skilled automotive
technicians.
"This is to ensure that skilled
automotive technicians are always available in the market, and that
all our motor vehicles on our roads are well-maintained and
roadworthy at all times."
