The fund was set up to pool contributions from the private sector, government agencies, non-government organisations and the public to ease the hardship of the victims of the recent flood that hit Temburong District.

The flood was triggered by 14 hours of continuous rain which started from the early evening of February 8.

Members of the public can make their donations to the fund - which closes on March 1 - through the Ministry of Home Affairs or the Temburong District Office. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
