Katok Primary School Champion

Bandar Seri Begawan - Katok Primary School emerged as the champion of the Inter-Primary School Football Championship for the Brunei III area after beating OKSB Kilanas Primary School 1-0 in the final at the Co-Curricular Football Field in Gadong yesterday.

Katok Primary School beat Mata-Mata Primary School in the quarterfinal and last year's champion, Rimba II Primary School in the semifinal while OKSB Kilanas Primary School had beaten host, Tungku Primary School in the quarters and Rimba I Primary School in the semis.

Md Aliuddin bin Timbang of Katok Primary School won the Man of the Match award while the Top Scorer award went to Md Amiruddin Nizam bin Said of Rimba II Primary School with seven goals to his credit.

The guest-of-honour, District Supervisor for Brunei III area, Hj Salim bin Hj Muntol presented the prizes to the winners.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
