Berakas Roadblock Nets Over 40

Bandar Seri Begawan - Over 40 people were slapped with summons after they were caught violating traffic regulations during a roadblock at the U-turn near Lambak Kanan Light Industrial Area in Berakas yesterday.

Two people who allegedly used scanned copies of road taxes for their vehicles and another person who illegally modified his vehicle were taken in for questioning.

The three-hour roadblock, which began at 9am, involved two senior police officers and 33 other lower rank officers.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
