Harvesting Padi At Wasan Agriculture

Bandar Seri Begawan - President of the Women Council of Brunei Darussalam, Datin Hjh Fatimah DSS Abang Hj Razali, and spouse Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Hj Abidin OKP Abd Rashid joined in a padi-harvesting event organised recently by the Women Association of Kg Junjongan.

It was carried out on two plots of land at Wasan Agriculture owned by Hjh Siti Amseh Basnah. Before the harvesting began, a doa was read by the Village Head of Kg Limau Manis, Hj Mohimin Hj Johari, and a welcoming speech was delivered by the event's chairman, Haslienahwati Yussof.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
