2-Day Event Instils Nationalism In Youths

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Belia Cinta Tanah Air programme, which was a two-day event, culminated yesterday with several activities such as a forest excursion held at Tanjung Maya. The event was aimed at fostering and instilling a sense of nationalism among the youths.

Several other communal and welfare activities highlighted the event such as poetry readings which were organised in the evenings.

Other activities included painting of a house of a blind resident, fishing, as well as a river excursion. The youths are between the ages of 15 and 25 years.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
