Bandar Seri Begawan - Patriotism was felt as far as Scotland where more than 30 Bruneian students observed the 24th National Day celebration in a lavish dinner yesterday organised by the Student Association of Brunei in Scotland (Bruscot).

The gathering was headed by the president of Bruscot, Awang Anuar bin Yussof. Students from Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Perth attended the celebration. Doa

kesyukuran in blessing the celebration was read by Mohd Hasrol bin Sabtu, followed by the singing of the national anthem.

According to one of the students, the main aim of the celebration was to gather all the students in Scotland on this special occasion where everyone was given a chance to exchange their views and opinions on the three universities in Scotland.
