Des School Joins N-Day Celebration

Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with the National Day celebrations, DES School recently held a special National Day Programme at the school's multi-purpose hall.

In the spirit of the event, school staff and students were dressed in Baju Kurung and Cara Melayu.

The programme began with the hoisting of the national flag and the singing of the national anthem.

The event also saw primary and kindergarten students, as well as teachers presenting various performances such as singing and acoustic presentations and a poetry reading competition.

In a welcoming speech by Pg Hjh Ernie Suryanie Pg Hj Othman, School Principal, on the significance of celebrating Brunei Darussalam's National Day, themed "Tunas Bangas", she encouraged the students to continue their role in contributing to the country's progress and development by doing their best in their studies to achieve their dreams and becoming responsible citizens of the nation.
