According to Lisa, a representative from Stella's School, "Parents, students, staff collected food, toys, books, clothes for Temburong flood victims, as well as raised money to purchase new story books for Boko Primary School, one of the schools affected by the flood.

"The students have donated over $1,000 worth of new books to the school," she said.

Eight primary six students, together with five teachers, majority of them originating from Temburong themselves, personally presented and delivered all the goods to Temburong District with the assistance of the Ministry of Home Affairs personnel, fire and rescue personnel, Temburong District office personnel and management of the Natural Disaster Unit.

Teachers and students were given a guided tour around Bokok Primary School by the principal of SR Bokok, where they witnessed the terrible damage caused by the floods.

The students were also told that the water level reached over 10 feet damaging some of the wooden walls and classroom facilities.
