Pehin Rahman Visits Schools In
Singapore

Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri SetiaAwg Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato
Setia Haji Awg Mohd Taib, visited four secondary schools and one
polytechnic school in Singapore during his visit to the country on
February 18 and 21.
His first visit was at the
Northlight Secondary School in Tanjong Katong, where he was greeted
by the School's Principal, Mrs Chua Yen Cheng, teachers and staff.
Also present to welcome him were officers from the Singapore
Ministry of Education.
The visit began with a welcoming
address and a briefing conducted by the principal and one of
Singapore's MOE officers. A tour around the school later on gave
Pehin Rahman the chance to interact with the students. Afterwards,
he continued his visit to Shuqun Secondary School at Jurong East.
Next stop was Bedok Town Secondary
School and Bartley Secondary School in Paya Lebar on February 21.
Accompanying the Pehin Rahman during the visit were his Permanent
Secretary, Dato Paduka Sheikh Hj Adrian Bin Sheikh Mohamed, the
Deputy Permanent Secretary, Dyg Hjh Apsah binti Hj Abd Maj id and Dr
Hj Omar Bin Hj Khalid, Special Duty Officer Planning and Policy at
the Ministry of Education Brunei Darussalam. Also joining him during
the visits were senior education officers of Brunei MOE and two
principals, Pg Hjh Sarah binti Pg Hj Kamaluddin and Hjh Gambar Binti
Hj Abd Gapar, as well as two headmasters Awg Abd Rahman Bin Hj
Mustapa and Zulkifi Hj Ahmad who are currently underdoing LEP course
