National Futsal Championship

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 2008 National Futsal Championship kicked off yesterday at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.

The guest-of-honour, Hj Ahmad Hj Abd Rahman, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports officially opened the championship. The guest-of-honour made the draw for the first two matches Madang FC against Adrenaline and MBS UTD (X) against Salambigar B.

The first match between Madang FC and Adrenaline ended in a 2-2 draw while the second game between MBS UTD (X) and Salambigar B ended in a 1-1 draw.

The meet was held in conjunction with the 24th National Day celebrations with 35 teams from the Brunei Muara District, Tutong District and the Belait District taking part.
