4 Foreign Workers Issued Special Passes

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two Indian nationals were arrested on suspicion of misusing their employment passes by taking on odd jobs in Sungai Liang.

The Belait Immigration Enforcement Section, in its report, said according to their employment passes, they were supposed to be working as an assistant manager and a labourer respectively.

The suspects breached Regulation 15(3) Immigration Regulation Paragraph 17 and were issued with special passes for further investigation.

In a separate inspection, two Malaysians were found working at a workshop while on social visit pass, according to a report.
