Patriotic Show By Students Of ISB

Bandar Seri Begawan - Students of the International School Brunei (ISB) showed their colours of, patriotism in yellow, black, red and white at the school's assembly for the 24th National Day celebrations. The event, attended by all primary students and parents, was held at the school's assembly hall on Friday February 22.

Members of the audience at the event were entertained by a variety of songs, dance and slide presentations on the history and the significance of the National Day in the country.

A special entrance by Pre-Kindergarten students kick started the assembly with a special song followed by Kindergarten students marching into the hall waving the flag of Brunei. The event was also highlighted with song presentations by Year 1 and Year 2 students and by Cikgu Faiezal (Malay teacher) and Siti (Year 12 student).

Parents and children at ISB were also treated to a special lineup of traditional Bruneian dance performances presented by students from Sekolah Dato Othman II who were also the special invited guests following their participation last year. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
