31 Get Course Certificates

Bandar Seri Begawan - Thirty one participants in the "Conventional Offshore/Deep Offshore Platforms and Pipeline" course received their certificates in a presentation ceremony yesterday.

Present at the ceremony was the Vice Chancellor of UBD, Dato Paduka Dr Hj Ismail bin Hj Duraman. Also in attendance were the General Manager of Total E&P Borneo BVLouis Hueze, UBD and ITB staff and students

The five-day course carried out by Total Professor Association, sponsored by UBD, was participated by students and lecturers from UBD and ITB and government personnel.

TPA's mission is to facilitate a meeting of the petroleum sector and institution of higher learning and universities, a meeting between teachers and students, of those who "know how to" and those who "teach and learn how to". The association aims to promote relationships among universities, institutes of higher education and the petroleum world, by means of technical or economical presentations given by teachers and experts in the country or abroad. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
