GHK Marks N-Day With Auto Show

Begawan - In support of Brunei Darussalam's 24th National Day
celebrations, GHK Motors took pride to present its first ever Auto
Show 2008 yesterday at the Sultan Hail Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation
Complex in the capital.
The three-day event was launched by
Chairman of GHK Group of Companies, Pg Dato Shariffuddin.
The event also saw the presentation
of "Best Dressed Vehicle" by the chairman, a representative from BSM
and GHK Sales Manager Mr John Too, and was followed with the
unveiling of the Dodge Brand, that falls under the Chrysier Group of
Companies and two of the Dodge models the Caliber and Viper, by Pg
Dato Shariffuddin and GHK General Manager Jake Gob.
The soft launch of the brand and
the models are expected o follow up with the official launch when
the new Beribi Complex, which is currently under construction, is
completed sometime later this year.
Along with the introduction and
unveiling of the Dodge Brand, Pg Dato Shariffuddin, Jake Gob and
John Too also unveiled several of Chrysler's new models brought in
especially for the Auto Show.
For the first time, local car
enthusiasts had the opportunity to set up close with the Chrysler
Sebring and the much-awaited C300 Touring with its 6.1 engine and a
horsepower of 500bhp.
Also participating in the Auto Show
was DAFIA Trading Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of GHK Group of
Companies.
Winners of the "Best Dressed
Mitsubishi", "Best Dressed Daihatsu" and "Best Dressed Chevrolet"
walked away with a cash prize of $500 arid a trophy. Out of these 10
winners, one will stand a chance to win "Best Overall Vehicle",
which will be voted by visitors throughout the show and the winner
will be announced on the final day of the event.
