Appreciating Greenery Through Photography

Bandar Seri Begawan - Year Three students at ISB recently participated in a photography competition entitled ‘Brunei in Bloom’.

The competition was aimed at encouraging students to appreciate the flora and fauna in the country while finding information about the conditions needed in order to sustain the growth of plants.

On top of that, they were encouraged to admire the beautiful floral arrangements found all over Brunei such as at public gardens, side of the roads and roundabouts.

Furthermore, it also encouraged students to appreciate the hard work and dedication of gardeners who work hard to make Brunei a more beautiful place.

The winners received garden gnomes and watering cans as prizes presented by the school gardeners, Ajit and Probol. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
