Tandoor.Com To Cruise Brunei Waters

Bandar Seri Begawan - If you ever thought of having lunch or dinner during the weekend whilst cruising along the Brunei waters, Tandoor.com is the restaurant to go to.

Throughout the month of March, Tandoor.com, which is famous for its authentic Indian cuisine, will be introducing a unique dining experience where diners can enjoy their meal on waters.

According to Mr Kumar, Manager of Tandoor.com, the idea came about because the eatery wants to introduce a new and different dining experience in the country.

"This concept has been going on all over the world, so we decided to introduce it here by renting a ship from the Marine Department," he said.

Customers will board the ship at the jetty in the capital, near the old customs, and they will be taken on a three-hour cruise while having their meals, said Mr Kumar.

However, dining is only available for dinner on Saturday evening from 7pm to 10pm and on Sunday lunch from 12pm to 3pm.

Meals will be served buffet style based on Tandoor.com menu, changing every Saturday and Sunday.

Currently, the promotion is only available throughout the month of March and the cruise is only available on Saturday and Sunday as this is the trial period to test the Brunei market," said Mr Kumar.

"However, if the response from members of the public is encouraging, then we might consider continuing the promotion," he added.

The cruise also caters to customers who wish to hold birthday events or other celebrations, including on weekdays. However, advance bookings are advised as permission needs to be granted from the Marine Department.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
