Hospital Ward Theft

Bandar Seri Begawan - An increasing number of theft cases inside the hospital ward has been noted.

Hj Rosli Hj Maidin, a patient at Ward six of the RIPAS Hospital lost his handphone on Thursday.

“I reported the matter to the central police and the personnel there also noted the increasing number of theft cases like handphones and wallets", he said.

"The authorities need to install CCTV at the ward to curb this problem. Because of this, I also moved to another patient ward. They must do something about this". Theft cases occurred when someone left the bed to go to the washroom or while sleeping at night."  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
