Bandar Seri
Begawan - Goh Hock Kee Motors Sdn Bhd will be presenting its
first Auto Show 2008 to coincide with the 24th National Day
celebrations.
Opening today at the Sultan Haji
Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Complex in the capital, the event, which
will run for three days, will see several activities.
One of the highlights of the event
will be launching of the Dodge franchise and unveiling of several
new Chrysler new models brought in specifically for the auto show.
For the first time in Brunei,
visitors will have the chance to view the Chrysler Sebring, the
much-awaited C300 Touring.
Along with the Sebring, the Dodge
Caliber will also be unveiled to add more glamour to the Auto Show.
GHK's DAHA Trading will also be unveiling a new model to its line up
of Chevrolet models, the Chevrolet Epica.
Other line up of activities include
the awarding of the "Best-Dressed-up Vehicle", "Kiddie Colouring
Contest" that will take place this Sunday as well as "Quiz Time" for
visitors.
A spokesman for GHK Motors said
that motor enthusiasts will be really treated to some very exciting
vehicles as Chryslers and the Dodge are some of the most beautiful
cars outside the Asian market.
Yesterday, media representatives
were given an overview of the three-day event, which serves as the
dealer's way of expressing thanks and appreciation to all its loyal
supporters over the years and to be a part of the 24th National Day
celebrations.
Members of the media were also
given a preview of the Dodge models and Chevrolet Epica. General
Manager Jake Goh, GHK Sales Manager John Too and Manager of DAHA
James Chin were on hand to brief the media.
Also present to provide a technical
overview was the Field Service Manager of GM Motors Singapore,
Napoleon, who has been flown in to train the DAHA technical staff on
