Sekolah Ugama Pengkalan Batu Wins Competition

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sekolah Ugama Pengkalan Batu emerged as champion yesterday defeating 12 other teams in the Dikir Syarafil Anam competition held among different Ugama schools in Brunei IV after earning the highest point of 84.5 per cent.

Second place went to Sekolah Ugama Tanjung Kindana with 82 per cent, and Sekolah Ugama Lumapas came in third place with 81.5 per cent points.

The competition was held at Sekolah Rendah Pengkalan Batu Hall. Assistant Officer of Islamic Studies of Brunei IV, Pengiran Anak Haji Metussin bin Pengiran Jaya Indera Pengiran Anak Besar, presented the certificates to the winners.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
