MoD Quiz Winners Receive Prizes

Bandar Seri Begawan - Sixteen winners of a recent Customer's Day Quiz, held by the Ministry of Development, yesterday received prizes during a ceremony held at Dewan Batabur, Ministry of Development.

The event began with a recital of Al-Fatihah and doa selamat, led by Environment Officer Dr Awang Haji Muhammad Majdi bin Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz.

Meanwhile, on hand to present the prizes to the winners was Permanent Secretary (Finance and Administration) at the Ministry of Development Awang Haji Mohd Rozan bin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Yunus, who was also the guest of honour.

Also in attendance were Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development Awang Haji Mohd Zin bin Awang Haji Salleh and senior officials at the ministry.

The winners were given a chance to draw from a pool of prizes, which comprised an array of electrical items.

The top prizes went to Dayang Nure'zzati binti Haji Md Hasbi and Dayang Mastura binti Haji Omar, who received a 21-inch television and a refrigerator respectively.

Other winners were: Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Japar, Md Jurri bin Haji Md Yussof, Muhd Azri bin Haji Sulaiman, Abd Muiz bin Haji Md Hasri, Muhd Wa'ie bin Md Sufri, Sulaiman bin Haji Kassim, Ak Danial bin Pengiran Haji Shahrum, Dayang Sarimah binti Haji Md Sukaili, Abdu; Aji bin Haji Dollah, AkAmeerul Ehsan bin Pengiran Haji Masle, Dayang Yusnani binti Haji Awang Md Yussof, Nurmaizzah binti Abdul Nasir, Siti Khalillah binti Haji Ariffm, and Najrien bin Juani. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
