12-Night Ceremony To Mark Prophet's B-Day

Bandar Seri Begawan - To glorify the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), mosques in the sultanate will begin nightly dikir sessions after performing the mass Maghrib prayer.

In Rimba, Gadong, The Takmir Committee of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Mosque (RIPAS) held a meeting recently on organising the nightly dikir for 12 consecutive nights beginning March 8.

The meeting was chaired by the mosque's chief imam, Hj Mohd Afdzillah bin Hj Mohd Yussof, chairman of the ceremony.

The committee is opening invitations for participants from departments, associations, the private sector, schools and colleges. People residing near the mosque are invited to attend and support the function.
