Bandar Seri
Begawan - A 17-month-old boy from Sarawak was accidentally
locked in a car while his parents went to the immigration offices to
sort out their documents.
The incident happened at the
parking lot of the Immigration and Labour Department building in
Jalan Menteri Besar at around 2pm yesterday.
Four firemen from the Berakas Fire
and Rescue Station, led by APK 41 Ampuan Zulkifli bin Ampuan Haji
Hussain, managed to free the toddler within 10 minutes to the relief
of his anxious parents.
The Department of Fire and Rescue
Public Relation Office, when contacted, urged parents not to leave
their children unattended in a car while the engine is running to
avoid any incidents. -- Courtesy of Borneo
