Education Caucus To Focus On Counselling, Management Of Discipline In Schools

Bandar Seri Begawan - The third SHBIE Education Caucus, organised by SHBIE, will be held February 27, 2pm, at the Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).

"Counselling and Management of Discipline in Schools" has been chosen as the topic of discussion for school teachers and administrators, as well as members of the public.

Admission to the SHBIE Education Caucus is free.

With the presence of invited guest Hj Ali Yusri Hj Ghafor of the Ministry of Education's Councelling and Career Guidance Unit, it is hoped that the dialogue will shed light on issues related to the topic, which in turn may generate a discussion of possible strategies to handle such problems.

SHBIE Education Caucus is an open discussion or public forum regularly organised by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education.

Among the objectives of the education caucus are to provide a platform for educational practitioners and individuals to share ideas and opinions for the development of education in the country, to provide an informal avenue for educational practitioners and stakeholders to identify and highlight issues related to education, to promote and convey ideas and opinions raised in the discussions to the relevant authorities, and to project the image of SHBIE as a contributor for educational development, which is in tune with the vision and mission of MoE and UBD.
