Amanha Spa Upgrades Facilities
By P Marilyn
Bandar Seri
Begawan - Spas and fitness centres of late have been gaining
popularity among Bruneians as a way to de-stress and simultaneously,
maintain a healthy lifestyle, through various facilities, such as
massage, gym, sauna, aerobics and more.
Over the weekend, Amanha Spa at
Orchid Garden Hotel opened its doors for business for the second
time after two weeks of refurbishment, in a bid to upgrade its
services and facilities.
"We have been receiving many
requests for yoga and aerobics classes from the ladies. So, to cater
to the needs of our members and to provide them with better
facilities and deals for what they are paying for, we decided to
upgrade our facilities," said Daniel Loo, Amanha Spa marketing
manager.
With the refurbishment completed,
Amanha Spa has now expanded its facilities to include yoga and
aerobics sessions, with instructors from Body Active Women's Fitness
Zone to conduct the classes.
Aerobics classes will be held every
Monday from 7pm to 8pm while yoga classes will be held at the same
time every Thursday.
Additional equipment is also
brought in for the gym, such as extra treadmills and dumbbells.
"Currently, there are approximately
four to five hundred members at Amanha Spa," said Loo, adding that
he expects more to join as the spa is spacious enough.
There are currently two types of
membership at the spa; Standard and Premium at B$388 and B$488 per
year, respectively, with an additional B$100 joining fee. -- Courtesy of Borneo
