National Futsal Championship

Bandar Seri Begawan - Thirty-Five teams will compete with each other to be crowned as king of, futsal at the National Futsal Championship co-organised by the Brunei Muara District Football Association and Brunei Football Association with the cooperation of Youth and Sport Department.

The competition last held in 2003 will feature some of the top teams in the local futsal circuit. Among them are ABDB futsal, Skim JBS, Madang FC and Syah Kampung.

A draw was held yesterday at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium and the opening ceremony for the competition will be on Feb 22 at the Multi Purpose Hall, Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium Complex.

Present at the draw were representatives from BAFA. In group A will be FUN B, ZinZan Futsal, Adrenaline, Madang FC and OurTeam while in Group B are DSB, Shah Utd A, Bio Pulse FC, ABDB futsal and Legend FC.

Kiudang Villa, F 162 FC, MBS Utd (X), Salambigar B and Maulana FT are in Group C while Group D are made up of Shah Utd B, Com Utd B, Prisons Department, JBS Scheme and UBD B.

UBD A, Perkasa, Salambigar A, Impiana FC and SyahKampung are in Group E while Group F will consist of So'Kha FT, Madang X, RC Qassam, Family FT and Com Utd A.

In Group G are MBS Utd (Y), Foot Loose, Winning ID, Fun A and MJ FC.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
