Releasing 3rd Album
By Liza Mohd
Kuala Belait
- Popular local singer, Carmen How, has returned to Brunei
for a short break after releasing her third album "Love.Do" in
Taiwan.
Speaking to Weekend Bulletin,
Carmen said that she is celebrating Chinese New Year with her
relatives in Kuala Belait.
After rising to stardom with her
hit record, "Long To Listen One More Time", which sold more than
130,000 units in 2000, Carmen made a great comeback after six years
with her second album, "Carmen's Fantasy Garden".
After barely a year since the
release of her second album, Carmen began to compose and produce her
own songs. Among her popular singles that are taking the Taiwan
radio waves by storm are "That True" and "Love Triangle". Carmen
also composed a song entitled "Silent Hero" for her father.
Being active in outdoor activities
particularly martial arts, Carmen has also been offered a role as a
villain in a movie called "Invincible", which is due to be released
this April. This is her first attempt to make it big on the silver
screen.
Her production company "Venus E",
which is based in Brunei, is working hard to promote her third album
in Taiwan and China. Her new album will be available in the Brunei
market soon. -- Courtesy of Borneo
